Luckily current workers on Mojang's Minecraft area are trying to keep it to medieval, but what happens when they need to have new people if this game lasts long enough. Well if the new generation thinks differently then they would remove the medieval stuff and add newer things. they would most likely turn to the futuristic side which would be their time in the next generation. Almost everything currently in MC would be removed and if notch as a old guy still alive wouldn't do poop about it since he doesn't even deal with MC anymore (I support jeb). Redstone would be wires and electronics, ores would be random objects, and MC's true purpose to be a easy little kids game would be revealed and would be concentrated on the little kids. sorry if some of this is kinda confusing, while typing I hit a Hotkey and deleted half of the old post.
