Did Minecraft Get Better Or Wose?

My  personal opinion is that minecraft got better, better, and than worse than Alpha... Does anyone remember Alpha, or Infidev?
I do, I still play it accualy with this new launcher. If you want to check it out for yourself, here is how. First, open your launcher. Second, Click "edit profile". Third, Mark the box "allow Alpha versions" Fourth, Below were you select "allow Alpha Versions" Bring up the window you use to change versions. Fifth, If your game doesn't have forge, Scroll all the way to the bottom and select your version of alpha you want to use. Sixth, Download and play.

How did Minecraft get better?

Minecraft has gained a lot mor popularity since alpha, which raises it's expectations. These expectations kinda forced Minecraft to get better. The first MAJOR update in MY opinion is 1.8. The end, the enderman, the enderdragon. We also can't forget the hunger bar and sprint now can we? I belived this is where Minecraft hit the limit... Boy, was I wrong! Next we had the horse update. (1.6.4) This update added horses, Fireworks, and I belive trading was added as well. But where did Minecraft go wrong?

In My opinion Minecraft got worse areoung the 1.7/1.8 periods. The water dungeons, Amplified, a crap ton of biomes. But how does this make Minecraft worse? Copying, taking things from terraria. Minecraft was more, well, Minecraft in 1.6.4, but in 1.7.1/1.8.1, It felt more like terraria to me. I liked Minecraft a lot more in Alpha/Beta.
