I'm here to talk about why asking for admin and/or Operator does NOT work.
First of all it shows that you are impatient and unreliable. (In the Owners eyes that is).
Second it also tells the owners how mature you are, for example:
"[Guest]Hell0121: Hey owner are you on?.
[Owner]Galdys: Yea whats up?.
[Guest]Hell0121: Can i have admin or op?.
[Owner]Galdys: No do not ask.
Player Hell0121 left the game."
That above shows what happens on every server Garanteed. And us owners do not really appreciate it, especially since we are dealing with other problems whether it be in-game or in real life.
Staff (Admin and moderators) have an important role in the server and needs to be carried out by active and mature staff, meaning no kids like 12 yrs and younger (Not trying to discriminate) and that almost why the owners of servers never accept you especially if you have just joined the server and ask "Can i have staff?", again it is plain old annoying.
There are numerous ways to get staff without going through the hassle of "Applying" and it's simple, "Keep playing" yep and whoopdy doo that is right if you active and play on the server for a while (Like a couple of months or so) you may just get a rank! Yes it takes a while but its very helpful to know that you actually know all the rules of the server and know whats going on.
If say after a month of playing on your favourite server they advertise that they need moderators/trial mods, they may direct you to where you need to apply for it or they may pick out a few people in the server to take on as a trial. That then is your opportunity to take it head on and apply properly.
So remember "Asking always fails" "Patience is the key to life"
I hope this is Somewhat useful to you and helps you achieve a rank in your favorite server whether it takes a year it is worth it in the end.
