My mom thinks that I don't need a new computer, so I wrote a horrible essay to convince her. Write if you agree with me in the comments! Also, feel free to leave tips to help make my essay skills better.
Topic: Why I need a computer
Today, computers are becoming part of our everyday life whether we know it or not. Everyone needs a computer, to check your e-mail, to study, to stay entertained. The reasons that I would like a computer are to play games, edit photos, personal productive live work, to make game-play commentaries, and to study and work.
If you have a computer, it makes no sense to only use it for work, especially if youo re a student. Video games are a great way to pass time, and connect with your friends, I would like to use my computer to play Video games, if you are a student, done all your work and have nothing to do, chances are, youo re going to play a Video game.
My mom has found on interest for photography, she has just bought a new camera, and plans on taking lots of pictures with it. I however would like to edit the photos that she took and create a scrapbook that she can share with friends this is an amazing opportunity for both of us; she gets to have professional looking photos, and I get to do productive work and keep myself occupied. I also would like a computer to write blogs, keep a to-do list etc.
On YouTube the amount of game-play commentaries is massive, I would like to make game-play videos as a activity in my leisure time, I can get feedback on the ways I talk, or how to become a more entertaining person, this can lead to me being more sociable, or help eliminate bad speaking habits, all while entertaining on audience.
Students are using computers more and more, from writing essays to doing research to personal leisure activities, without a doubt, we can till that a computer would help me do a lot studying and work. With a PC, I can personalize my computer so that I can get the most productivity out of it. I well have numerous applications and features that help me study such as wrist rests on a keyboard, or a fast graphics card so that letters appear in real time when I am typing I strongly believe that though keyboard and mouse is no replacement for pen and paper it is an alternative that puts less stress on your hands. With pen and paper, you can write drafts, that would have to be edited and rewritten on a new sheet of paper, however with a computer, you can write your draft, save it, and edit a copy of it so you can compare you word and let auto-correct double check your grammar, honestly ask yourself, which one seems easier.
