How to Make a Quality Let's Play Series ?

Looking around on Youtube , you can find a lot of Let's Play series.
However , lots ( not saying all ) of these videos/series are not good enough ( Bad FPS , Mic Quality , Free recording software , etc.. )
I will tell you how to Make a successful Video/Series and i will cover all details you will need.

Setting Up Your Computer.

I recommend getting at least 4GB and i5 or better laptop/pc so you can get that smooth fps and good render distance.

Also for the mic , I recommend using a good one Like

- Snowball Mic

- Beats pro Mic

Your Video.

1-Watching the video should be entertaining, this means there is no urge to skip ahead (or jump out of the closest window ) while watching the video. Be interesting, I find that most good producers of let's play Talk to themselves A LOT. This is probably because after watching someone punch their tenth tree in silence my mind tends to wonder.

2-Have a goal , get to it, and enjoy yourself. If you aren't having fun, then the viewers are having a worse time. Feeling down? having a bad day? don't film till you feel better. ( "Ugh, yea... This is episode 42 of my let's play, I guess I will go mine,,,,, god I hate mining." ) Unless you have fun with it no one else will.

3- BE YOURSELF , DO NOT TRY TO BE LIKE ETHO,YOGSCAST,DOC...

Youtube.

Recorded your video ? now , try to export in good quality , at least 420p , crop everything that is not minecraft ( your desktop/your dock if on mac )

Go and enable monitization Over your youtube channel , that will allow you to get Custom video thumbnails which attract more viewers.

i suggest photoshop if you want to make a good thumbnails , also use Nova Skin site to maybe add your minecraft character to it

Advertising.

After Uploading The video , don't expect it to get 1000 views in a couple of hours , actually , you will need to advertise , never advertise by commenting on other people's work/videos without their permission. that will get you hated and will kill your chances of becoming a good Youtuber.

I recommend going to Planetminecraft chat and advertise there every 15 minutes , try to choose good words not just post the link with " Check this out."
