Hello! Wade654, doing my first server review. Today I'll be reviewing:
Zombie Manic!
Server Summary:
This server isn't a factions server or Towny server or anything normal. No, it is instead a server based upon a Half Life 2 mod called, "Zombie Panic". The object of Zombie Manic, if you are human, is to survive with your 19 other teamates until the time runs out (with the help of barricades and loot chests scattered about). If you are a zombie, however, things are MUCH different. There are between 1-3 zombies per game, and the zombie(s) must kill all the humans before time runs out. If the zombies succeed in killing all the humans in the allotted time limit. If the humans survive the zombies, they win the round. After a winning team is crowned, the server starts a new round on a new map, which you can see with /ms. The map will usually be in grey italics, like this. Example: Church Seige.

(Before I delve into the actual review, I want to applaud and thank the server creator and owner, stevenpcc, for taking the time to code this game-mode and make sure it runs smoothly.)
There are many things to cover, as Zombie Manic encompasses many servers and has tons of maps to choose from. First off, I shall start where the game starts: in the lobby.
I think that the layout of it is very nice, with pleasing aesthetics and a simple lobby system of six servers seating 20 non-premium users and 10 premium users, to house a total of 180 players at a time (though the lobby holds 200 players, most likely in preparation for new gamemodes). After you join a server, you join another lobby where you choose between being a human and a zombie, though this lasts only 30 seconds. (There's plenty of time to choose a team, though. Trust me.)
After the game starts, you are spawn on the map (which happens to be my next point in the review). Each map is very well designed, and the aesthetics aren't too bad either. The chest placement isn't too overpowered, with a fair amount of chests being placed on each map. They have 20+ player made and staff made maps, so they have tons of variety.
The community is very good and very supportive of new players. I rarely ever see people calling each other noobs or acting like they're better than the new players. In fact, it is quite the opposite. I see them helping other players and giving them items like arrows and heal pots. The admins are also very fun and spice up the game-mode every once and awhile with their "hardcore Zombie Manic," as it's called. They also have a subreddit, which is full of people who are friendly and know how the game is played, so there's plenty of help.
Now, the meat of the server, the plugin!
The plugin is a custom-coded one, so I was expecting some bugs. However, once I played a game through, I noticed that there were very few, if any at all. The custom arrow stacking is also a plus, as it limits how many arrows one can carry (and thus making the humans less overpowered).
