Advanced Minecraft
This datapack was designed to work with Minecraft 1.16+
The datapack
The datapack adds functionality only for the minecart category. You can find the list of features in the section below as well as the description for each one.
Functionality
Acceleration of minecart speed:
This function makes it possible to accelerate the speed of the minecart by 4m / s for each speed level. To increase the speed level all you need to do is place a lime concrete block under an accelerator rail.
Slowing down of the minecart:
This function makes it possible to slow down the minecart by 4m / s. To slow down the minecart all you need to do is place a red concrete block under an accelerator rail.
Stopping the minecart:
This function allows to stop the minecart completely, this function only tightens to stop the minecart while the speed level is greater than two only for technical purpose. To stop the minecart all you need to do is place a yellow concrete block under an unactivated accelerator rail.
Minecart rotator:
This function allows you to turn the minecart towards the direction of your choice, this function is also for a technical purpose to use it when you want to accelerate the minecart to point the block towards the direction you want to go. To turn the minecart place a block of magenta terracota that points in the direction of your choice under a rail.
Mounted the minecart:
This function allows the minecart to be mounted upwards. To mount the minecart all you need to do is place 1 lime concrete block behind the light blue concrete and remove the rail on the opposite side of the black concrete block.
Lower the minecart:
This function allows the minecart to descend very slowly. To lower the minecart all you need to do is place 1 black concrete block behind the light blue concrete and remove the rail on the opposite side of the black concrete block.
Add Particules Trail:
This function allow to add a trail made of particles that can give very cool result using effect. To add a Particle Trail simply put a sign with a number from 0 to 48 on a sign 2 block under the minecart 0 is to remove Trail
Effect 1:
This function allow you to make the minecart jump 2 block separated ground. To performe this function place 1 block of blue concrete under a block of orange concrete under powered rail. Tip you can add trail to make it look cool.

Camouflage update

As this datapack is my only project at the moment I will be doing small updates regularly.
Addition
Adds a camouflage option for the function, you can now hide all 2 block under the rail.
You can also hide the blue concrete block 3 block under the east rail so you can hide the minecart elevator

Edit: I've spent more time with it and looked at the main.mcfunction and the functionality doesn't match the description and there are several issues so let me explain a few things:
This datapack creates a scoreboard called Speed. The way it's implemented is kind of wonky because your Speed doesn't correlate with the speed you are traveling. It is set after you pass over the first block, be it yellow or red or green. From there, once you have set your speed you are simply adding/removing to that value depending on the block you pass over and then a boost is added to your cart depending on that value (1 through 13).
So the red block doesn't actually slow you down, it removes the boost. There is no way to slow your minecart down.
The description says that the yellow block stops the minecart if it is under an unpowered accelerator rail. This is the normal operation of unpowered accelerator rails. The only thing the yellow block does is reset the scoreboard.
Once you are no longer on a rail, the scoreboard is reset. So if you jump or drop or come off the rail at all, your Speed scoreboard resets.
As for the jumping and all that, it's too buggy to be a feature and there's really no point in going over it.
I'd say it's a decent first effort, but get the speed functionality sorted before messing with other stuff.
You would need to make your own effect reference table since some of the effect names would be too long, but for the sake of argument let's just say that effect 4 is VILLAGER_HAPPY. Having a sign two blocks below the cart with these values would add the VILLAGER_HAPPY effect to the cart with a length of 30 and set the speed to 8/ms.
