Simple system to delete old arrows by counting the amount of arrows present in the world to reduce entity lag!
Super customizable!
Config Settings: (Config located in config.mcfunction)
- arrowMax: Amount of arrows allowed to be in the world at once. (Default 25)
- playerScaling: 0 = False, 1 = True. Values greater than 1 treated as true. Whether or not to scale the max arrows by the amount of players in the game (arrowMax * playerCount)
- onlyTrackUnrecoverableArrows: 0 = False, 1 = True. Values greater than 1 treated as true. Whether or not to only delete arrows that cannot be picked up, such as Infinity arrows.
- killTrackedArrowsOnReload: 0 = False, 1 = True. Values greater than 1 treated as true. When running /reload to fix the config or for any reason, tell the pack if it should kill arrows that have been counted. Recommended always, but especially with onlyTrackUnrecoverableArrows set to 1.
If you turn on Only Track Unrecoverable Arrows, I recommend drastically lowering the max arrow count :)
Whitelisted arrows are stored in the arrows.json tag in arrowcorpses>tags>entities! Here you can disable normal or spectral arrows if you'd only like to target one type! (Yes I know there's already an arrow tag in vanilla, but this way it's customizable.)
