This datapack has 8 Auto Turrets that will target hostile mobs.

There are 5 tiers of basic arrow-firing turret, then three other unique turrets.

Turrets are crafted by throwing the specified materials onto a Smithing Table.

-Tier 1-
Power: 2
Speed: 0.5/second
Range: 15 blocks

Craft: 1 Dispenser, 4 Oak Planks, 4 Redstone

-Tier 2-
Power: 3
Speed: 1/second
Range: 25 blocks

Craft: 2 Dispenser, 4 Oak Logs, 3 Redstone Blocks

-Tier 3-
Power: 4
Speed: 2/second
Range: 35 blocks

Craft: 4 Dispenser, 8 Iron Ingots 6 Redstone Blocks

-Tier 4-
Power: 5
Speed: 4/second
Range: 45 blocks

Craft: 8 Dispenser, 16 Obsidian, 16 Redstone Blocks

-Tier 5-
Power: 15
Speed: 10/second
Range: 50 blocks

Craft: 16 Dispenser, 4 Netherite Ingot, 1 Nether Star

-Fire-
Power: 3
Speed: 3/second
Range: 40 blocks
Special: Throws Fire Charges in groups of three every second.

Craft: 1 Blast Furnace, 8 Blaze Rods, 8 Fire Charges

-Zeus-
Power: N/A
Speed: 1-3/second
Range: 30 blocks
Special: Attacks using Lightning (if it hits a mob) and can attack up to three mobs at once.

Craft: 1 Observer, 10 Lightning Rods, 16 Amethyst Shards

-Maelstrom-
Power: 3
Speed: 20(x2)/second
Range: 30 blocks
Special: Fires a horizontal spinning arrow storm of doom whenever a hostile mob is in range.

Craft: 32 Dispenser, 4 Gold Blocks, 64 Arrows

yo bro are you fixing the thing where they shot underground ?> not sure if you care about this project anymore but oh well

Hi! They shoot underground only at mobs in range. Unfortunately, there's no simple way to fix this, so they'll just keep shooting at that target until it's out of range or until another target becomes closer.

I really like this datapack, although, the turrets try to attack mobs that are under ground, they can't hit them so they just stay there shooting at nothing

Haha, sadly that results in a bug where the block is not destroyed but the item drops. Would be extremely complicated to fix.

anyway you can make it only shoot when it has direct line of sight of the mobs? its constantly tryna shoot through walls but cant ever kill.

I could do something like that, but it would be a lot more intensive running so many commands in a single tick.

Watch the video. If it's not working, you might not have the datapack installed correctly. You cannot run it as a .zip file
