Better hardcore is a datapack that expands Hardcore difficulty with changes that make Minecraft much more dangerous.
How do I add it to a World?
To add it to a world, create a new world in Hardcore Mode and search for datapacks, add there the datapack and enable it. Now when you enter the world enable the resourcepack.
Changes of the Datapack:
- Zombies, zombie villagers, husks and drowneds are faster and stronger.
- Skeletons, strays and wither skeletons are faster and deal more damage.
- Pillagers spawn with enchanted crossbows (Quick Charge III (3) and Multishot)
- HP (Health Points) are reduced to half, you can make it be normal again with hearts of HP+.
- Spiders are faster and stronger.
- Creepers fuse time is now lower.
- Hardcore Darkness (With Resourcepack).
- Hard difficulty is now Hardcore.
- You can't sleep.
Upcoming changes of the datapack:
- Totems may not save you always, as there will be a 10% chance that it doesn't work.
- Mobs with gear.
- Harder Structures.
- End Raids
- New Mobs

- Now when you craft planks you get two planks instead of four.
- Gold blocks to craft golden apples.
- Gold ingots to craft golden carrots and glistering melons.
- Other recipe changes.
- Now you cand find Hearts of HP+ on buried tresaures (less common).
Bug-001: Heart of HP+ in inventory when using it to have max. health. Now when you use the last needed heart to be at full life, you won't have it and it will be removed from your inventory.

If there is a file there, just close minecraft and delete it, then reopen it.
You can also disable the datapack with the "/datapack disable" command.

If would be cool if every time it rains it would be lightning that attacks you.
If picaxes durability was alot smaller.
And your meat spoils giving you poison, after its sits for a day.

But yes, this makes Totems not safe at all.
