Hi and welcome to the Better Metal datapack aka (also known as) Better Netherite datapack i have added features that will make the game more challenging, like:
TUTORIAL:
New features:
1. now to make your casual iron, gold, diamond tools you first need to smelt the ingot/ore to melt the ingot, the iron and gold ingots take 30 secs to melt in a furnace and diamond takes 60secs to melt and netherite takes 2mins to melt.
2. after you make the melted version of the ingots/ores then you'll have to craft the metal former that is just a smithing table on top of a furnace crafted in the crafting table.
3. and you can use the metal former to make the metal parts of tools and the tools like: blade (the metal part of a sword), axe head (the metal part of a axe), bucket, etc.
4. and to make the tools you will have to craft a tool handle in a crafting table then put a metal part of a tool on top of a tool handle in the metal former.
5. if you want to make your melted ingots/ores normal again you will have to drop them in water( please be carefull because of the way i have coded the datapack, if you drop a lot of melted ingots/ores in water at the same time they'll all be deleted and you will only get ONE)
