This datapack allows you to craft a sword with the max sharpness enchantment. This level used to be higher, which is why it says sharpness 1000 in the title(also 1000 sounds cooler than 255). The current level is 255, so to make up for the levels of sharpness in this new version of minecraft, while holding the sword you get strength 256, so the sword does enough damage to kill any minecraft mob.
