With this DataPack, you will be able to compare the performances of your horses.

While holding the Custom item in your main hand and a golden carrot in your offhand, right clic near a horse.

The speed and the jump height are given in arbitrary units (Jump in cm from 1.16 version). Here are the maximum stats a horse can have :

Horse
  Speed : 338 (average : 225)
  Jump : 1000 (average : 700) | 529 cm (average : 289 cm)
  Health : 15 hearts (average : 11.5)

Donkeys and Mule
  Health : 15 Hearts (average : 11.5)
  Speed : Always 175
  Jump : always 500



To obtain the Horse Scanner, you can use this command in a command bloc:
/give @p minecraft:fishing_rod{display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Horse Scan\",\"color\":\"dark_green\",\"bold\":\"true\"}",Lore:["Right clic near a horse to get","his caracteristics.","---","consume a golden carrot","wich have to be held in your offhand"]},HideFlags:5,RepairCost:99999,Unbreakable:1b,Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:unbreaking",lvl:1}],hScan:1} 1

or you can use the Custom craft (see in attached pictures).

Just downloaded it for version 1.16.4 and it seems like it only gives a 0 in speed to horses that have been breed. so the foal dosent give a speed read out. bug?
edit: the speed read out dosent work on horses that have grown up.

Hey, question! With the 1.16 update (horses now jump in cm) do you know how to spawn a horse with decent stats? I've been spawning horses that soundly jump 6 blocks for a while but they have since changed it and now no matter what I type I seem to be getting a -125 jump (according to your scanner). Do you know the new command system? thanks!

You should be able to summon a horse with the max jump stats using the following command


/summon horse ~ ~ ~ {Attributes:[{Name:horse.jump_strength,Base:1}]}It should be able to jump around 5.3 blocks high

Just downloaded this datapack on version 1.14.4 and it seems like that the "Jump" data is always zero, no matter which horse type I use it on! (Bug) I suppose

I think ya have a typo in that last screencap. "Hearths" instead of "Health" or "Hearts".
