Here is a new datapack that will make the layers of blocks in your world disappear one by one.
By default, it will make an area of 64x64 blocks disappear with a delay of 10 seconds between two layer removals. However you will have much more choice via the parameters.
Warning: Large areas can cause some computers and servers to lag.
To display the datapack settings menu, simply enter the command "/function awor_dila:settings" and then click on the different texts to change the values, start, pause, resume or stop your game.
Additional information: Once the last layer (bedrock) is gone, the game ends but is still active so you can continue playing. Stop it via the settings menu to start a new one.

It does not work for me (1.16.5)
Also make sure that you installed it correctly and followed the instructions in the description :)
