Dispensers fire actual blocks.
You could build a house automatically with redstone. (Or you could just build a dirt canon and cover your friend's house in dirt :D )
I am not the first person to think of dispensers placing blocks, but as far as I know this is the only 1.16+ datapack that supports almost all blocks types and fires blocks from dispensers at high speeds.
Note: Sand and Carved Pumpkins do not work yet, but almost every other block does

Steps:
1. Create a new world and select datapacks>open folder, or go into your Minecraft data folder for an existing world
2. Unzip the file
3. Open the unzipped folder. You should see to folders: MACOS_X and dispense_blocks.
4. Drag the dispense_blocks folder into the datapacks folder
