Dynamic Difficulty is a datapack that will enhance minecraft's difficulty by scaling hostile mobs damage and health in proportion to your performance in-game. This is done by evaluating many different stats in-game, such as Damage Dealt, Damage Received, Average Health, Average Food Level, Player XP Level, Deaths and Enemy Kill Count.
Then, an amplifier (In percentage) will modify hostile mobs health and damage accordingly. As an example, if the amplifier is at 200%, a normal zombie will spawn with twice the health and damage.
The data also adds some changes to the mob's behavior, such as:
These features can be disabled or enabled in the settings of the data pack, so you can play as you want.

- The introduction of a "Thief" mob, a mob capable of stealing the item the player has in their main hand. The "Thief" can also use the item in specific ways, such as consuming potions, equipping armor, throwing items and eating food. Thieves can be recognized by enemies that do not hold anything (but used to), such as skeletons, piglins, etc.
- The ability of phantoms to carry you once they hit you, and to spawn with leashed mobs.
- Additions to combat using Shovels and Hoes for both you and the mobs.
- A chance to turn a hostile mob's arrows into fireworks.
- The ability for entities to spawn with armor or weapons depends on the amplifier.
- A few changes to escalating stats on creepers.
These features can be disabled or enabled in the settings of the data pack, so you can play as you want.

- Added a new difficulty toggle that allows phantoms to spawn with leashed entities.
- Added a way to regulate the rate of change of the amplifier through the settings.
