A few QoL recipes


less steps:
  • dispenser from dropper
  • chest *4 from logs
  • hopper from logs
  • bone block from 3 bones
  • recoloring blocks (except blocks with color melded into them eg. glazed terracotta)
  • "red bed" from *any wool
  • "oak sign" from *any planks
adds:
  • name tag
  • red sand
  • coral blocks surround all 6 sides of sand with small corals to make a coral block
  • granite + cobblestone = 2 diorite
  • andesite = diorite
  • Clay block to Clay ball
  • Gilded Blackstone (1.16+)
  • Blackstone from Basalt in stonecutter (1.16+)
  • soul sand/soil exchange in stonecutter (1.16+)
  • chain from iron bars in stonecutter (1.16+)
  • ender chest from crying obsidian (1.16+)
  • 2x Candles from 2x Honeycomb (1.17)
  • moss from moss carpet (1.17)
it just works:
  • in singleplayer
  • in multiplayer
  • updates the recipe book when relevant ingredient is picked up

Info: this datapack overrides those vanilla minecraft recipes to keep the recipe book nice and tidy

You should make it so that these crafting recipes don't override the vanilla MC ones.

such datapacks already exist, i just like that instead having 2 crafting recipes stained_glass using glass only and stained_glass using stained_glass, i have one that uses glass or stained_glass

note that the last loaded datapack that changes those recipes is the one to have those recipes
