This is an offshoot from the Papi's Potions pack, releasing one of the features as an isolated pack.

How to cure an enderman:
  • Lock eyes with an enderman, and they might stop moving (this is a vanilla feature)
  • If you can manage to maintain eye contact, drop a blaze powder on them while still staring at them to begin converting
  • After 10 seconds, the enderman will convert
  • Cured endermen will not hurt anything as long as they are at max health. If they are damaged, they will go into an enraged state and obtain Strength II, but will quickly regenerate their health
  • Frienderman will remember who cured them. If you are at half a heart, within 100 blocks of the enderman, and are surrounded by 5+ hostile mobs, the enderman will swoop in and teleport you approximately 30 blocks away to safety.

Are you able to go into the config and change the range in which the enderman will teleport you from a distance of 100 to infinite?of

This is a very interesting idea. However, I wonder how effective they would be without following the player.

It's still looks like a cool idea worth checking out.

To be honest, when I designed this I didn’t really intend for it to be a super effective feature you rely on to get out of scrapes. More like something that only happens once in a blue moon, but when it does it’s super exciting.

Actually, I just remembered something. I once built a glass box, and an Enderman somehow got inside. He stayed in there for a very long time, and I had to eventually break him out.

So, I'm thinking it would be possible to cage a Frienderman near dangerous areas and use them like Totems.

I also wonder if this pack will work on boat Friendermen...
