Gnomes!
This Datapack adds Garden Gnomes to your Minecraft World!
During the Day, Gnomes will be made of stone, and not move. They are a statue. However, when the sun sets, they come alive!
Currently, there are 3 Variants. One has a red hat, a green shirt, and blue pants. Another has a red hat, a blue shirt, and green pants. And finally, the other one has a blue hat, a green shirt, and blue pants.
Killing/Destroying Gnomes will drop their stone variant. The type of Gnome is displayed in the lore of the item.
Gnomes will naturally spawn in your world wherever other passive mobs are able to spawn.
Update: Gnomes no longer drop xp when killed/destroyed.

-It's not working?
*Make sure you have installed the datapack properly. It should be in the "datapacks" folder of your world save.
*Make sure you do not have a folder within a folder.
*I have been told Forge tends to sometimes mess with datapacks. If you are using forge and this is not working, try using Fabric instead.
*Try un-installing and re-installing.
*Make sure the difficulty is not peaceful mode.
-Can I use this in a video?
*Yes! As long as you provide me credit with the minimum of a link in the description to this page directly, you can use this!
-Where can I report bugs?
*You can either report bugs here on this site, or my preferred method is to join my discord (linked below) and letting me know there.

i also made sure to give you plenty of credit as i really like how you made it and dont want to take any credit away from you
I have a couple comments though. Yes, the natural spawning would replace pigs, but I added a thing in there to make sure the player isn’t near so it doesn’t affect pig farms.
It was never my long-term goal to have them naturally spawn, it was just a placeholder until I got the motivation to update it. My plan was to eventually have “Gnome Burrows” spawn around the world, where you could find a little group of gnomes inside.
Other than that, I love the changes you made! I will be sure to add a bunch of these when I update it! Thank you
i also want a third type of gnome but i dont really have any ideas for what to make it do
idk if this is these changes are too big and will make my unofficial edit draft to much away from you'r original datapack/concept
