    ~~~Golden Food Datapack by Taku~~~

    Installation:

    After you have extracted all files from "Golden Food Datapack by Taku.zip", place "resources.zip" inside the world folder, and
    place the folder "Golden Food" inside the "datapacks" folder inside your world folder.


    How to use:

    Just craft golden food like a normal golden apple but with the food you prefer


    Give Commands:

    /function gd_food:give/everything

    Quick question, are the golden foods reskins of the golden apple, cause I have a server with origins and I want the carnivores to be able to have a fighting advantage as well.

    it is, with it's own recipe each, it was a datapack when i was learning how to make datapacks, you can edit it adding scoreboards of eating meat in the start.json file, then tick.json /effect to everyone with score: 1 and then remove that point to reset

    Hey, made an account just to ask but will this be updated for 1.17.1 (the most current version at the time of this comment)?

    It still works, mostly, but the textures are all just the golden apple with a different name now. If there is a fix and it does not need to be updated please let me know, other than that. Thanks for the awesome datapack!.

    Can you add the resource pack to the resource pack decency slot in the editing area of the post? s=it'll make peoples lives easier. All in all love the textures!

    Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong, but when I load this data pack onto a vanilla Minecraft 1.15.1, I get the message that says "Golden Food Datapack Enable", and I can create the recipes, but they just give me knowledge books and then do nothing.

    If I right click a knowledge book in survival mode, it just vanishes.

    Using the commands to give items above, the items do appear along with the correct textures, I just can't obtain them via crafting.

    Any idea what I would need to do to get this working properly?

    Edit: I found out I had a command running the "give all recipes" command every tick!




    It seems that after removing that function and clearing out all the recipes using "/recipe take *" your data pack is now working perfectly! :D




    So in case others in the future have a similar thing happen. Just make sure your learned recipes are cleared!

    i just check what it is and i did not saw any bug in the files, maybe it was a problem with your world

    whatever, i'll clear the datapack recipes in the same function that runs the "enable" message, so in case this problem happen again, you just need to /reload your world
