Ig!, you know, the sand-generating ore showcased in Jay Exci's Youtube Video How to Add Infinite Features into Minecraft (with one update)? so yea, i liked the concept of Ig Enough to make it a data-pack for vanilla Minecraft. Working From 1.14 (Mostly (Sword Doesn't Really Deal Much Damage)) and Fully in 1.16 to 1.17 (And Likely 1.18).

  Ig Is Obtained By Mining Sand. There is ~ a 1 in 10 change of getting Ig From a sand. Ig Can Be Eaten to restore 2.5 Hunger Icons or used to make Items. Ig Tools Are Faster than iron but The pickaxe Cannot Mine diamonds and they suffer from less durability. But The Sword Will Inflict Weakness And Is Between Iron and diamond in terms of strength. Ig Tools are Crafted By Putting a Wood Tool Next to The Equivalent Amount of Ig To Craft It (If This Was Actually a high effort data-pack) on the ground. You Will Get an Ig Tool and some wood

  Unfortunately in 1.14 and 1.15 the sword does not work as intended, It Attacks really fast but only deals half a heart of damage due to the attributes not lining up in those versions. It requires a resource pack (Bundled in the zip download) to be used correctly.
