Set any item or block to be your hat!

Simply hold an item run the command /trigger hat

The item that is currently in your head slot will be safely swapped to your hand



(Multiplayer friendly / Everyone is able to run the command)

This dont works, i put this datapack in a server on 1.18.2 and the datapack dont works

Does it say anything when you try to run the command?

Also is the server on Apex? Cuz I had a problem on there before

Try run the following commands and see if it works:


/scoreboard players enable @a hat
/execute as @a if score @s hat matches 1.. run scoreboard players set @s hat 0
/trigger hat
/execute as @a if score @s hat matches 1.. run function hats:sethat

(If this works you can put them (not the /trigger hat) in repeating command blocks to make it work, but I'm looking into where servers mistreat it to not run these commands by themselves)

simple and fun, thanks for making it!
(I think my favorite is when you have dynamic lighting on and wear a lantern on your head but it appears inside your head, so then it just looks like you're glowing from nowhere, it's great-)
