Ultimate Hard Mode
My aim with this datapack is to completely overhaul the way you play the game. Instead of killing everything you see,
you'll have to pick your fights wisely because one wrong choice can be the difference between life and death. Here are
the things I've added so far (I will add more in the future, it just takes a while to do so):
My aim with this datapack is to completely overhaul the way you play the game. Instead of killing everything you see,
you'll have to pick your fights wisely because one wrong choice can be the difference between life and death. Here are
the things I've added so far (I will add more in the future, it just takes a while to do so):
Elites
Elites have a small chance of spawning in place of a regular mob. Proceed with caution, as they can be exceptionally deadly. They are all larger, have more health, deal more damage, and have red skulls above their head to denote their status.
Elite Zombie
Elite Zombies wield an extremely powerful, flaming axe and wear a helmet upon their head, so they won't go away as the sun comes up. They are much faster than regular zombies, and you most likely won't be able to outrun one of these beasts. Their signature attack is a deadly ground slam where they jump high into the air and slam onto the ground below, sending forward a shockwave on the ground that will deal devastating damage if you don't avoid it.
Elite Skeleton
Elite Skeletons are much faster than their standard counterparts and hold a powerful bow that will shred your health if you don't act quickly. Upon approaching one, it will put away its bow and draw a steel sword, so approach with extreme caution.
Elite Creeper
Elite Creepers can be the most dangerous of the elites if you don't pay attention to it. Their fuse is shorter, and their explosion is strong enough to kill even the most powerful of players.
Elite Spider
Elite Spiders are swift and deadly. Upon hitting you, it will spin a web around you, ensuring a tasty lunch for it and its children. Occasionally, it will shoot a web at you, which can immobilize you even from a range. Upon the landing of a web, several baby spiders will emerge and start feeding on your immobile body. You must act fast or you won't be able to act at all.
Elite Enderman
Elite Endermen have pursued the path of gaining powerful magical powers, and in doing so, have gone mad. Approaching one of these zealots is enough to enrage it. It can teleport behind you, creating a magical explosion with a short delay after. It also has the ability to summon a gravity well which will draw you into it and damage you for a few seconds. Avoid this enemy unless you are fully prepared for an intense battle.
Hard Mode
Hard Mode is activated after you defeat the Ender Dragon. So far, the only feature it has is making more elites spawn, but I plan to add Hard Mode-exclusive enemies and loot in the future.
