We all can agree that phantoms suck. So I wanted to try and fix them.
Introducing, Luna's Better Phantoms!
This datapack includes some changes to the phantoms' ai. They now:
- Deal no direct damage to any players
- Instead, they deal damage by lifting you into the sky. You can press sneak to get off of them, but you may take fall damage.
- Some phantoms can now spawn carrying several other types of mobs, like zombies, creepers, or skeletons. They drop those mobs when they get close to a player.

when they get close to a player, or if the phantom disappears, the armor stand is deleted.
