Lunatic Mode is a datapack, it aims to add many touhou references while also making the game abnormally difficult in a fun yet challenging way.

Resourcepack can be found alongside the datapack in the ZIP file.



In your journey, you will encounter new structures, stronger monsters, rare and unique items, and powerful bosses.
be sure to check your advancements and recipe book if you get stuck!



MOST OF THE FEATURES:
I say most because the pack is so big I may have forgotten some


DYNAMIC MUSIC

When certain events happen, music will change dynamically.
There are 4 states, and no music for the end dimension. Depending on state and biome the music will change.

the 4 music states are as listed:
-building/mining
-combat (pve)
-combat (pvp)
-vs boss

Music can also be disabled or enabled with /trigger togglemusic


COMBAT
most weapons have had their stats changed, and previously useless armor (chain, gold, leather) are now useful

-hold a rabbits foot in your offhand to replace your jump with a dash
-shields have been reworked, now having a 'shield point' bar. If this reaches 0, you will become stunlocked and any damage you take has a chance to be multiplied.
-crouch while holding a sword as you take damage to parry it, parrying wont save your life but will heal you for a portion of hp lost. It will not allow you to survive lethal damage


SHRINES
Throughout the world you can encounter 3 shrines. morya; hakurei; and the place yuyuko is at (i forget how to spell it)

you can join moriya and hakurei for different buffs and abillities, and you can feed yuyuko for rewards.
undead mobs and creepers are unable to enter shrines



ORIGINS-LIKE PERK SYSTEM
When joining a world, type "/trigger perks" to select a perk.
Depending on what you pick, it can drastically change or minorly alter how you play the game

this cannot be changed later, unless a rare item is found in the caves


MOBS
many mobs have been changed to some degree, many of which appear to be faster.

-rabbits are now evil
-zombies always break doors and have a chance to spawn reinforcements
-spiders create webs near players
-creepers are faster
-endermen give blindness to nearby players
-skeletons are now very fast
-phantoms turn invisible when near players and give levitation
-blazes leave a fire trail
-wither skeletons can swap between melee and ranged
-drowned will drag players down when in water
-most mobs are significantly stronger below y0


ITEMS
many new items have been added, and are only obtainable through the rare structures.

-multiple weapons have been added
-stone tools have been replaced with copper
-sometimes you may find accessories, place them in the top left corner of your inventory where the 3 icons are to use them.
-certain items can only be used if you are a part of certain shrines

BOSSES
Currently there are 4 bosses. For information on how to spawn them, check the advancements tab


COMPATIBILITY
dont expect this to work with any datapack. things will break for them both.
