Adds several naturally-spawning, Mediterranean-themed structures to your world! Part of the Thunderbirds Structure Collection.
Versions - This pack is for Minecraft 1.21.4, and it will not be continuously updated from here on out. The full Structure Collection (linked above) will continue receiving updates, so if you wish to use any of the village packs individually in future versions (including this one), you'll have to select the files you want from the full collection.
Compatibility - This datapack should be compatible with any other worldgen pack. It also contains integration support for some other packs/mods (more details below).
Structures
This pack adds 3 brand new structures to the game: 2 "traditional" villages, plus one structure that contains villagers but may appear less like a normal village then you'd expect. There's also an additional, rare, secret structure that we'll leave it up to you to find for yourself...
The Vineyard Town (tbirds:village_greek/vineyard_town)
A rustic, sprawling village containing multiple road types and a large market at the center. It can be found in the Flower Forest and Old Growth Birch Forest.
Additionally, if you also happen to have certain other worldgen packs/mods installed, this village will spawn in the following non-vanilla biomes:
Terralith: Brushland and Steppe
Wythers Expanded Ecosphere: Mediterranean Island
For all of these structures, feel free to make requests in the comments for integration with other packs/mods!
Santorini (tbirds:village_greek/santorini)
A more modernist village heavily based on the real-life city of Santorini, Greece. In vanilla Minecraft, it can be found in the Stony Shore biome.
Non-Vanilla Biomes:
Terralith: White Cliffs
Wythers Expanded Ecosphere: Mediterranean Island
Mega Villas (tbirds:village_greek/megaterranean)
This less-traditional, somewhat rare village spawns a smaller amount of very large houses, each with multiple villagers and job blocks, all connected by wide roads and decorated with olive trees. In vanilla, it's found in the Sunflower Plains.
Non-Vanilla Biomes:
Terralith: Arid Highlands, Hot Shrubland, and Steppe
/locate and /place - All villages can be found with /locate and generated with /place; the structure IDs are listed above in parenthesis next to their respective names.
