Required Resource Pack
0
Accompanied resource pack also required to run.
All tools are fairly self explanatory to craft, they require the base block/ingot and sticks in the usual shape. Bone tools are the only different ones, and the recipes for them are listed in the pictures.
Tool varieties unfortunately don't have any special properties as of right now. If this gets enough love, then I might add some armor, more tool varieties, or special properties to the tool variants.
Just so you are aware it is not creating new tools, so it does work with vanilla minecraft, but in essence it is taking tools already in-game and re-texturing, and re-naming them to look different, so they are only variants.
All tools and their equals:
Bone, Cactus, Bamboo - Wood
Brick, Netherrack, End Stone, Deepslate - Stone
Copper, Obsidian - Iron
If you are unsure how to use datapacks, on creation of a world go to the far right tab and open the datapack folder, and unzip the datapack folder into that folder. If you would like to add to an existing world, highlight your desired world on the world menu, click the edit button, open the datapack folder and unzip there. Happy trails!
