This Datapack seeks to rebalance travelling by nerving the Elytra.



Changes:

When equipping the Elytra all enchantments will be removed.
Equipping an Elytra with Mending, will break it!
Phantoms never spawn.
Added an Advancement "Kill all mobs" that excludes the Phantoms.


This Datapack is forked from Re-Balanced Elytra and credit goes to @imalittlhigh

this effectively makes Potions of Slow Falling unobtainable though

+ Elytras are now one-time use items, which even given their overpowered state doesn't feel right

ooh yeah your right, didn't think about the potion. And you got a good point about the elytra beeing a one time use, it's suboptimal. Best would be a new resource like gunpowder but much more rare that would be reqired to make rockets for flight, that would solve the enchantment problem as well, could even make a indestructible enchant.
