Overview:
Odyssey is a mythology-themed content expansion implementing 12 unique classes and progression paths! With multiplayer in mind, each class provides benefits to your party of players, from the peaceful crofter to the brutal warmonger. Unique mobs, equipment, crops, decorations, redstone, and cosmetics are peppered throughout the world of Minecraft breathing new life. New structures enhance gameplay with interactive builds and Zelda-inspired dungeon generation. Delve into nonlinear paths using new loot such as boomerangs, grappling hooks, and keys. Odyssey dungeons encourage backtracking to uncover previously inaccessible challenges. Join the new multiplayer RPG, Odyssey.

Classes
Charmer 
Follower of AphroditeCharmers are one of the most good-willed factions of the world of Odyssey, following the philosophy of tranquility and harmony. A highly trained Charmer can even bring peace between the Iron Golems and Zombies!
Gain experience by taming and breeding mobs!
Neutral animals become passive, while at higher levels hostile mobs can become completely docile even when provoked!
Archer 
Follower of ApolloArchers are skilled marksmen, honoring the path of ranged combat. Being experienced in long-distance battles, you’ll often finish a fight without ever entering your foe’s sights. Archers are no stranger to dodging incoming attacks and have the agility to prove it.
Gain experience by using ranged weapons.
Your skilled hands, allow you to enchant ranged weapons without tools, and your keen eyes let you see in the dark. You’re a sure shot from even the largest distances, and you can dodge incoming attacks.
Warmonger 
[ ! ]
Follower of AresWarmongers live for the thrill of combat. Specialized in melee warfare, you’ll have the strength to wield heavier weaponry, and can unlock ancient combat techniques.
Gain experience from damaging foes, and drawing out fights.
Your innate strength enhances the efficiency of all melee weapons, and you gain the ability to wield duel-handed weapons in one hand.
Hunter 
Follower of ArtemisWhile hunters are still quite proficient in ranged combat, they know close-quarters conflicts are often unavoidable. Prepared for anything, and well-read on the native land, you will be able to take full advantage of your killer instinct while on the hunt, inflicting bleed with your knife.
Gain experience by hunting and tracking wildlife, and living druidically.
Your skilled hands, allow you to enchant ranged weapons without tools, and your keen eyes let you see in the dark. When given the opportunity, you can use a stout blade to slice arteries inflicting bleed.
Strategist 
[ ! ]
Follower of AthenaStrategists are masters of war, preferring to win their fights with hidden aces, and utilizing concealed tactical advantages. If you find yourself on the sharp end of a Strategist’s blade, you can be sure that they will take full advantage of your every weakness. Strategists prefer to deal lethal damage, rather than slowly picking at an enemy’s health.
Gain experience by landing the killing blow, and utilizing alternative combat strategies.
Knowing how to roll with your punches, you will take less damage from physical injury. You can easily parry less skilled attacks.
Crofter 
Follower of DemeterAnother peaceful faction, Crofters aim to fill bellies and cultivate diverse fields of flora. You will never find yourself wanting; being able to cook unique meals for every occasion. It is not uncommon to find a Crofter carefully tending to their gardens, watering their grains, and sowing seeds in planters.
Gain experience by eating unique meals, and growing and harvesting crops.
Knowing your way around cuisine has its perks! All foods become edible, and you cannot be inflicted with hunger. With your green thumb, you’re able to grow your crops more swiftly and harvest them more efficiently. At higher levels, you’ll learn to grow perfect crops with new cultivation techniques, and invent new food recipes that give you special buffs.
Brewer 
Follower of DionysusWhile Brewers may prioritize the art of “hedonistic merriment”, make no mistake, they’re an excellent addition to any adventurer’s party. When not cooking up suspicious concoctions, a Brewer can be found building their tolerance to every poison on their shelf and inventing new ways to isolate special buffs into handily bottled blends.
Gain experience by using brewing stands, collecting ingredients, being afflicted with potion effects, and using splash potions.
You are no stranger to toxic brews, having built up an extravagant immunity to nearly all debuffs. Some may find your affinity to poisons off-putting, but you know every ailment has its silver lining. At higher levels, when debuffed, you gain a related buff instead!
Forger 
[ ! ]
Follower of HephaestusForgers may spend days to weeks shuffling between the mine and smithy, but rest assured that when they arise from the hermetic soot and ashes, they will have a lustrous project to show for it. Nobody knows their way around an anvil like a Forger, skilfully embedding charms, grips, and padding to best suit your entire armory to your needs.
Gain experience by mining, using an anvil and various crafting blocks, smithing, and using tools.
As a skilled craftsman, you know how to hone a blade with your whetstone for enhanced damage, you can augment tools and armor with gemstones and charms enabling them to achieve what some call “miracles”. You have the experience needed to quarry resources much faster and your greatest skill yet comes at higher levels when you begin to forge entirely unique equipment.
Homemaker 
[ ! ]
Follower of HeraHomemakers know how to dress up an interior, having an impressive sense for artistic composition! You can bet that even after years of living in one place, sooner or later you’ll catch a Homemaker refurnishing their quarters and carving new wards into their walls, because, according to them, “the work is never done.” There is no safer place than a Homemaker’s residence, full of thaumaturgical defenses and inviting decor.
Gain experience by building your base, placing domestic charms, and working with redstone.
You know that a good offense is a flawless defense, which is why you’re exemplary in the art of warding, allowing for the prevention of hostile guests and general misfortune on your soil. The nomadic life just isn’t for you, the longer you stay in one place, the more your environment will yield to your needs.
Traveler 
Follower of HermesTravelers move with a constant rhythm, as though they’ve always got somewhere to be. And often, they do! Why walk when you can run? As though a rule of nature, you simply won’t ever find a Traveler in one place for too long.
Gain experience by sprinting, taming mounts, riding mounts, and generally moving quickly.
You are swift, naturally outpacing your foes with your walking speed alone. As a professional jockey, you can use your speed to your advantage by sharing your movement buffs with your mount! You’re on the go, quickly swiping away at cobwebs that would hinder the common adventurer. Cold feet, ice seems to harden below you, as though the earth itself hastens you forward!
Mariner 
Follower of NeptuneAye! The high seas! Mariners know the brine better than they know the land! Nay only be it an honor to be the first mate to a Mariner, but it’ll ensure ye a safe passage from the menaces o' the Odyssey’s depths! Ah! But don’t ye misconstrue “safe” fer boring! The sea becomes naught short o' an expansive 'n enthralling adventure waitin' to happen fer the common sea dog!
Avast! Gain experience by swimming, boating, fishing, 'n booty hunting’
Aaaarrrrgggghhhh! Ye’ve earned yer sea legs, 'n ye cannot be thrown overboard by ocean storms! Breathin' be well-nigh a suggestion to a buccaneer! Ye can comfortably traverse the deep fer extended lengths! Mariners have the “Respect o' The Sea.” Dolphins’ graces arrrrr activated from more than twice as far n’ fer twice as long! Even bilge-suckin' sea monsters consider ye thar owns! Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!
Idol 
[ ! ]
Follower of ZeusOften referred to as the “chosen one,” an Idol is blessed by the gods themselves, actively defended by bolts of lightning and blessings when their deity sees fit. Idols serve a grand narrative, and their status is well known, being the closest things to cosmic celebrities. An Idol may frequently be caught up in their own reflection, and while some may scoff at their self-absorption, it can easily be said that an Idol will outclass you, be it by their own skill, or blue blood.
Gain experience by slaying monsters, defending the innocent, and bringing glory to your deity’s name.
You are part of a greater plan, and can generally expect random events to fall in your favor... some may call it dumb luck... Celestial Smite, your deity will attack your foes with bolts of sanctified judgment while in combat. You are in good hands and can expect to be blessed with divine intervention when you need it most. Idols are the unyielding light of venerated righteousness, you’re presence alone enfeebles the undead!
