    While tools like VirusTotal are certainly helpful, they’re only as effective as the person using them. A basic understanding of how antivirus software works—and how often they can produce false positives—is kind of essential before throwing around accusations of putting a virus in a file.

    For reference, this particular datapack was flagged by one out of 60 engines on VirusTotal... four years ago.     Just something to keep in mind before jumping to conclusions.

    Is it an virus or not bro.... I dawnloaded an Data pack before and it spammed me with ur computer hase a virus I don't want to see that again.... Do you know how embaresing it is to tell your school you may or may not have dawnloaded a virus.

    This project has been published over 4 years ago and PlanetMinecraft moderators are quite active. If this was a virus, the file (which is hosted on PlanetMinecraft for this specific project) would have been deleted a long time ago — and I believe it wouldn't have taken 4 years and over 20k downloads for someone to complain if it was really the case.
