This Datapack adds Pumpkin Slices To Minecraft which can be crafted by putting 2 pumpkins in a crafting table or a player's crafting grid.
Pumpkin Slices are an easily accessible food source in Minecraft.
Pumpkin Slices can be very useful as an early game food source. Unlike Melons, Pumpkins can't be used as a food source right away in vanilla minecraft, pumpkins are used to make pumpkin pie which is a very good food source but it needs a sugar and an egg in order to be crafted. Pumpkin Slices, on the other hand can be crafted with just two pumpkins. Pumpkins can be found very easily in many biomes like plains, taiga, forest etc. Pumpkin Slices fill 1 hunger bar and putting 2 pumpkins in the crafting grid gives 8 pumpkin slices.
IMPORTANT:- You need the resourcepack in order to be able to see the pumpkin slice texture. If you don't have the resourcepack downloaded then you will just see the melon slice texture.
