    Required Resource Pack
    NerdAmethyst
Level 48 : Master Dragonborn Crafter
    58
Changes the loot table of Evokers to drop totems of undying having the appearance of Illager Runes provided by the resource pack. The drop rates remains unchanged. Each rune has the same chance of being dropped by the Evoker upon death.
This only changes the look of the totem of undying and the effects of each totem is the same as the original.
This datapack only includes the Illager Rune alphabets and numerals.

Note: Be sure to download and install both the datapack, and the resourcepack provided.

    Nice concept !
Maybe you could use CustomModelData numbers different from 1, 2, 3, ... that could cause incompatibility with other resource packs and datapacks. In the resource pack, you can group all the totem variation in a namespaced subfolder

Nothing special, it's mostly for aesthetics. The Evoker still drops the usual totem of undying upon death, the datapack only adds variation to the appearance of totem of undying. My idea is just to collect all the kinds of illager runes (totem appearance).

Couldn't it be achieved through a resource pack? Of course, Optifine would be needed for it to work properly, but I think that it would've been easier to work with.

It needs a datapack to add it in the loot table of the Evoker drops. I can just make it a resource pack but the item must be renamed individually using Optifine's CIT support or change the totem's custom model data in vanilla to get all the textures. I prefer the Evoker drop random totems when killed as sort of collectibles.

You could also make a resource pack for people who were ok with naming them and didn’t want to need a datapack
