    Any silk touch tool can pick up spawners. As long as the mob is compatible with the vanilla game, no guarantees for modded or datapack mobs, you can grab the spawner. That's it.

    hey i didnt know where to dm you but I updated the jsons in the datapack to work with 1.21.5 let me know if you wanna get in contect/want it for yourself <3 also theres this new warning under the spawner since 1.21.5 about commands it might execute, do you think there's a way to get rid of that?

    After a bit of testing it seems like the following spawners don't drop their respective eggs:

    Allay, Armadillo, Axolotl, Bogged, Breeze, Camel, Frog, Glow Squid, Goat, Sniffer, Tadpole, Warden

    While it normally wouldn't matter because said spawners down spawn, however some people I know, as well as myself use another datapack that adds craftable spawn eggs so it is a problem under certain circumstances.

    No, it is only supposed to be affected by silk touch, I will check and get back to you with my results

    I did test it both enchanting Silk Touch and Mending. Without enchanting, the spawner does not drop. Silk Touch will drop it. Mending will also drop it. I already tested it in single world
