Are you tired of having too many redstone and lapis in the lategame? While you have to grind for xp with quartz, this datapack offers a really easy solution for all that.
You can now smelt Lapis Lazuli for 14 xp in a Blast furnace and Redstone for 11.2 xp. I don't even know why this isn't in the game jet. It would save a lot of grind for so many people.

Nice, simple datapack, I love it! Could you maybe make it so that the same goes for diamonds and emeralds? That would make it more coherent!

Actually I didn't do it for those because , you are not scarificing resources (if we don't count fortune) by smelting. That 11.2 xp comes form that you gain 4-5 redstone from each ore and you gain and you gain 1-5 xp so in avearge you scacrifice 3.5 redstone. So you get 3.5*3 xp + a bit for the extra fuel. Same foe lapis. So yeah fundamentally burning dias and emerlads wouldn't make you sacrifice resources for extra xp.

But I'm glad you like the idea!
