This slime chuck data pack will help slime farms and make slime spawn faster and more efficient. How to use: Not much setup, just type /reload and also /datapack enable "file/SlimeOpt". Also for more information please read the txt file called README.

Patch 1.2.2 added particles to slimes so slime chunks are easier to find.

Note: Make sure to type /reload or else it might not work and also /datapack enable "file/SlimeOpt".

You find a slime chunk then like every ten or so ticks it will spawn another slime right next to the other one.

can you make a datapack that adds green paticles as an outline to slime chunks

It was easier than I thought i put particles on slimes so that slime chunks are easier to find. :D

I'll look into doing that but a thing I would recommend would be using is the f3 and g to get chucks.
