Slimefun Wind Staff Datapack

This pack only works in the 1.21.11 Snapshots or later!

This datapack adds the item "Elemental Staff - Wind" from the now-discontinued PaperMC plugin Slimefun4 to the vanilla game, using a combination of data components and custom enchantment features added in the snapshots leading up to Java Edition v1.21.11.

I attempted to make the item's appearance and functionality as accurate to Slimefun4's version as I could, but there are a few slight differences:

• The crafting recipe uses different items here; Specifically, it uses the items that the original ingredients visually appeared as when you do not use a resource pack with Slimefun4.
• Saturation points will be used instead of hunger points if available, similar to vanilla's "Lunge" enchantment.
• The Staff stops working when you have less hunger points than is required to sprint, also similar to vanilla's "Lunge" enchantment.
• Instead of replacing your momentum, this version of the Staff boosts you forwards. This makes it handle differently than the original. More specifically, it does not reset your speed when you use it, meaning you cannot use it to negate fall damage the same way you could with the original Staff. This also means that if you use it to turn around, it will slow you down, and that using it again when you are moving will speed you up.

You can craft it using 2 sticks, 2 feathers, and 1 gold nugget.
