Inspiration
I was inspired to make this datapack after seeing previous attempts to make a datapack like this that were incredibly convoluted and overly-complicated. No complicated recipes or armor stand tricks or written books or anything like that. I tried to keep this datapack as simple and user-friendly as possible.

Usage
Getting Custom Skins



This datapack allows players to obtain custom player heads by renaming a player-head in an anvil to the username of the player that has the desired skin (do note, fetching the player skin data requires you are not playing in "Offline" mode).

Crafting Player Heads

I also added a crafting recipe for player heads (which can be customized to your desire by modifying the sph/data/recipes/player_head.json file) so these features can be completely accessible to survival players. By default, you can craft a head using either a skeleton skull or zombie head with a totem of undying.
