"The duality has been unleashed. Head underground at nighttime, or you will be consumed by the void. Head to the surface on daytime, or a blinding light will erase you from existance. Slay the Sun Emperor and the Void King to banish the duality. The Arrow of Light can be crafted using an arrow and 8 remains of the villager's protector, the Void Crystal can be obtained by crushing a solid block of the rarest underground mineral. Pierce the sky to challenge the sun, lay the crystal onto the hardest rock to unleash the darkness. Good luck..."
This data pack forces you to act quick as you can't stay above ground (> y=60) at nighttime or below ground (< y=50) on daytime. Between y=60 and y=50, you are always safe. To break the curse, you have to defeat the Sun Emperor and the Void King.
You might have to enable cheats and type "/reload" in chat for this data pack to work. Also remember to download the resource pack and good luck!

To summon the Sun Emperor, you need to craft an arrow of light using and Arrow and surrounding it with Sun Essence, which is dropped twice from iron golems. You then need to shoot it upwards at daytime and the Sun Emperor will appear.
To summon the Void King, you need to craft a diamond block, which now only consists of 4 diamonds. When you break it, you will get a Void Crystal, which will summon the Void King when thrown onto bedrock.
