    - To throw an item, put it in your offhand. Some items as torchs, maps and shields won't be thrown if in offhand
    - Thrown items can have a higher speed if thrown while sprinting in the air
    - Tools will break their respective materials
    - Netherite items have additional powers when thrown with high speed
    - Pickaxes will act as boomerangs and come back to you. This feature may be a little buggy in multiplayer
    - Throwing tnt, tnt_minecart or end crystal will make them explode
    - Throwing fireballs or flint_and_steel will use it to place fire
    - Throwing ender pearls will still activate teleportation
    - Thrown items will drop once broken (except items which consumes)

    And is there a way to add some modded items to be recognized as a type of tool(is it a sword,axe or sth) ? It's a bit discouraging to see a cleaver from a mod seen as a common item, not a sword type

    Sir, would you consider tweaking this project and made it that some mobs could throw weapon as well? For example, some vindicators born with special talent would fly their axe if the target is too far!

    you should instead make it so throwing blocks is like throwing a trident and can be done in your main hand too when you aren't looking at another block (placing the block in your hand on the other block) but with a much faster pullback time than a trident. Items can still be thrown like normal but with the cool midair animation too. Tools should have a charge too so you don't y33t your sword after you eat bread in your offhand.

    That can be a great idea, in fact this pack is basically pretty old and was one of the first I made. I just updated it to the latest version yet so it can be used in 1.20. But if I decide to rework this datapack, I will consider your idea

    honestly ender pearls and such could have a quick pull back time too realism and balance idk cool concept th0.

    tryna put this on a survival server while keeping balance spam right clicking tnt in your offhand would be the best weapon without a cooldown.
