Do you have trouble lighting up big caves?
With the new snapshots bringing massive caves into the game, it can be very difficult to see what's around you.
In an attempt to make temporarily lighting large areas a little easier, I made it so you can throw blaze rods! If you've played Terraria you'll recognize the similarity to glow sticks. That's where I got the idea :D
Please Note
This is just a first draft, there are a few bugs. Nothing that will break your world, only things that might break the immersion a bit.
The main bug is caused by an item stacking issue, and isn't hard to deal with.
What's to come?
If enough people seem to like this data pack I'll make some updates to smooth it out and add other features!

Changed the light source to the new minecraft:light block instead of invisible glow lichen, so it's much brighter now!

I love where and how you got your inspiration that lead you in the direction to develop a data pack like this. Myself being a resource pack creator I haven't looked too much into the creation data packs, but I do know that it requires greater skill and knowledge on json code. Your data pack to me is inspiring as a creator, I'm a person who relays on inspiration and motivation. You have my word that this data pack is an awesome idea. You've chosen to go forth with it at a very good time with the right intentions. There is always room for improvement in every creation and I hope you decide to take your creation and brainstorm potential improvements or additions to do more with.
