Throwable Creepers
Throwable Creepers are new mobs that can be used as throwable explosions to fight mobs, defending bases and even pranking your friends!
Spawning
Throwable Creepers are new mobs that can be spawned using cauldron(filled with water), glistering melon, moss block, gunpowder and creeper head.
Usage
To launch the creeper after spawning it, grab flint and steel, ignite its head, and then crouch while striking it to initiate the launch.

Would not want this in a regular survival world (either SSP or SMP), but they look like they open up a number of interesting possibilities for mini-games or special events.
…and much more minecrafty a way to add a throwable explosive than the varios artillery mods I'ev seen.
