    This is a fairly simple data pack that includes a single trigger function. This trigger will allow you to make any item that you are holding in your main hand "unbreakable". This means that the item will no longer take any durability damage when being used. All you need to do is run the command in chat /trigger unbreakable while holding a tool or a piece of armor in your hand.

    All items that are made unbreakable will retain their correct naming and enchantments so this is safe to use on gear that you have already enchanted.


    Tested on version 1.21.5 Java

    If you haven't found a solution for this, and aren't afraid to make a single edit, you can go into "trigger-unbreakable\data\mgg\function\loop.mcfunction" and edit "scoreboard players enable @a unbreakable" replacing the "@a" with the op player name. Example: scoreboard players enable Xwicked_knightX unbreakable
