This datapack and resource pack adds a trumpet item. This item can be obtained by killing a trumpet skeleton. The Trumpet skeleton has a 100% chance to drop the trumpet. To use the trumpet time simply right click it while holding it, Using the trumpet will decrease its durability (100 uses) before it breaks.

This is super fun, but is there a possibility of making the trumpet held the right way around? As is, the player and skeleton both hold it with the mouthpiece facing away from themselves. Otherwise, working great.

Animations would be cool too, but I don't know what's possible in a datapack.

Great Idea! but I found a problem with this data pack! Basically when ever I use the trumpet in my main hand it makes a thrown snowball sound and gets consumed when in my offhand the same issue happens but doesn't get consumed!

I had like 3 Data Packs installed, but I don't remember what they were but I removed them from my Data Packs folder because I was mostly just trying out new data packs on a test world!

But I'm testing out your Data Pack Right now without any other Data Packs in the version 1.17.1!

Edit: I just tested it, and the Trumpet (Item) does work just try not to have other Data Packs in your Data Packs folder as well as have the required resource pack!
