For Minecraft 1.21.4 - 1.21.5
Tired of vanilla armor trims being purely cosmetic?
This data pack revolutionizes trimmed armor by adding powerful in-game effects through custom commands! Transform your decorative designs into functional gear with unique abilities.
How does it enhance armor trims?
◇ Material-Driven Base Stats
Each trim material (e.g. Iron, Redstone, Lapis) dynamically boosts your armor's core attributes - armor toughness, movement speed, or luck.
◇ Set Bonus System
Each armor trim pattern (e.g. Wild, Spire, Snout) grants exclusive bonuses. Equip more pieces of the same trim type to amplify effects.
Mix and match any material + pattern combo — cook up your own god-tier bling!
Other Key Changes
Bows ↔ Crossbows now share all enchantments except Quick Charge
New Cosmetic Enchant: Spire Armor Trim
Craft in a Smithing Table with:
Spire Armor Trim Template + Elytra → Elytra with Spire effects
Triggers: Activate Spire trim abilities while equipping

Modifies trim_material.minecraft.<material> & trim_pattern.minecraft.<pattern> to add brief effect descriptions in-game. Data pack works 100% without it so it's unnecessary

Notes
This data pack was initially created to enhance a custom survival mini-game map I designed. I recognized its potential as a versatile standalone modification and refined it for broader compatibility. Now released publicly.
I plan to release future updates addressing player feedback and expanding compatibility with upcoming Minecraft versions.
