Vanilla+ | A Minecraft Data Pack for 1.21.3 - 1.21.5
This data pack includes over 200 items that can be crafted or found! In my opinion, the best part about this is that it can be used on Minecraft Realms, unlike some more complex data packs. So be sure to include this whenever you and your friends start a new Realm! Here's a list of all features below:
Additionally, if you'd like to download Vanilla+ as a mod, just download the mod version from Modrinth! It works on every Mod Loader, so just pop it into your mods folder and enjoy using Vanilla+ without needing the resource pack!

This data pack includes over 200 items that can be crafted or found! In my opinion, the best part about this is that it can be used on Minecraft Realms, unlike some more complex data packs. So be sure to include this whenever you and your friends start a new Realm! Here's a list of all features below:
- Custom Armor: 9 sets of Armor that can be crafted using Copper, Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, Quartz, Emerald, and Amethyst. Copper and Lapis are on the level of Iron, Quartz is on the level of Chainmail, Redstone is on the level of Gold, Emerald is on the level of Diamond, and Amethyst is on the level of Netherite! There is also Nether Star Gear, made by adding a Nether Star to Netherite Gear in a Smithing Table. There is also a full set of Turtle Armor that has special buffs for underwater maneuvering!
- Custom Tools: 8 new toolsets that each correspond to the first 8 new Armor sets! Quartz's tools are on the level of iron, since Chainmail does not have a toolset, and Amethyst tools still require a Netherite Ingot in each recipe like the Armor.
- Custom Food: Both simple and complex dishes that can be crafted for a wider variety of food!
- Dyeable Books: 36 different coloring options can be applied to Book & Quill items!
- Dyeable Elytra: Following the same style as the Dyeable Books, Dyeable Elytra have 35 color options in addition to a "wings" option, crafted using a feather! However, I would recommend having extra Mending and Unbreaking books ready to put on the Elytra if you're dyeing an existing set, I couldn't figure out how to keep enchantments when dyeing them.
- More Dyeable Bundles: The 20 unique colors in this pack can also be applied to Bundles!
- Locked Blocks: Locked Chests and Locked Barrels can now be crafted using a Chest/Barrel and Iron Bars! They can only be opened by using Keys, which generate in Stronghold libraries. Small Keys can be used to open the normal Locked Blocks, while there are 2 other Locked Block variants that can only be opened by using Big Keys.
- Mushrooms: Mushroom items from the Super Mario Bros. series! The Mega Mushroom makes you 4 blocks tall, the Super Mushroom makes you 3 blocks tall, the Poison Mushroom makes you 1 block tall, and the Mini Mushroom makes you about .2 blocks tall. As of Version 7.0, these are no longer craftable and are now found in normal Vaults in the Trial Chambers.
- Ocarinas and Heart Containers: Ocarinas are unique items from The Legend of Zelda series, found only when opening an Ominous Vault in a Trial Chamber. One plays the "Song of Storms" which summons a thunderstorm that lasts 5 minutes; it has a cooldown of 10 minutes. The other plays the "Sun's Song" which can reset the time of day to the morning; this one has a cooldown of 20 minutes. Heart Containers permanently* upgrade your max health by 1 whole heart! They can only be found upon killing either the Wither or the Ender Dragon, but even then there is a small chance that it is not dropped. (*Due to a technical issue, you lose your extra hearts on death. However, upon consuming another Heart Container, it replenishes all lost hearts while additionally adding 1 extra.)
- Special Goat Horns: When it was briefly on Bedrock Edition, the Copper Horn would play different parts of a song depending on the position of the player, with 10 different songs/variants. It was removed before official release, but I've decided to add it and the 10 songs back into the game, this time having each horn made from a different material! Upon obtaining a Goat Horn for the first time, you will unlock all 10 crafting recipes, so try them out! (These are found in Version 8.0 and above)
- Advancements: there are many new custom advancements; while most have to do with unlocking various crafting recipes, there are a few that are from the Achievement system of the old versions of Minecraft! While some have been adjusted, most are exactly how they were when they were removed.

Merry Early Christmas, here's a HUGE update!
Heart Containers: straight out of The Legend of Zelda, these permanently* upgrade your max health whenever you consume one! They can only be found upon killing either the Wither or the Ender Dragon, and even then there is a small chance that it is not dropped. (*Due to a technical issue, you lose your extra hearts on death. However, upon consuming another Heart Container, it replenishes all lost hearts while additionally adding 1 extra.)
New Advancements: many new advancements have been added!...well, they're actually old. Several Achievements from before the Advancement system was added have been added to Vanilla+! Due to my personal lack of knowledge, some have had to be adjusted slightly in order to work, but for the most part they are exactly how they were when they were removed.
Turtle Armor: a full set of Turtle Gear has been added, making for 8 total sets of armor. These 3 extra parts are designed to be worn with the Turtle Shell helmet, are slightly worse than iron, and each have a specific buff.
Christmas Items: finally, 6 new items have been added to celebrate Christmas! These are 5 new food items and a Santa hat, craftable with 4 red wool and 3 white wool. The food items are Candy Canes, a Gingerbread Man, Eggnog, Hot Chocolate, and Chocolate Milk! The food item recipes can be found in the Sweet Scroll and the Drinks Scroll.

(idk why making to 1.21.3 tho maybe because of bug fixes?
all i know is that most mods including datapacks and server side mods have 1.21.1 or 1.20.1 (and honestly 1.21.1 would be great since most mods are migrating to that version for now
For example, my diamond leggings are showing purple & black
and it is showing unsuopprted also
BTW, I'm using 1.21.11.
and also those items are not showing in creative search .. why.. fix that pls

but my freinds are shouting on me for its bugging RP
I'm running into a weird issue where this mod seems to conflict with the Obsidian Apple in the Piglin Conservatory mod (possibly other food items in that mod as well, the apple is just more common / noticeable). Do you have any tips for how I might fix it?

Update: the author of Piglin Conservatory made a combined "compatibility" resource pack specifically for conflicts like this, so I was able to install that and move it high up in my load order and the issue is resolved now. I'm still curious for my own learning how Vanilla+ contributed to the incompatibility, though - I couldn't find anything obvious to explain how it was overwriting PC's Obsidian Apple.
