Block Breaker V1.1
For Minecraft 1.14.4 – 1.15.2!


The Block Breaker Datapack adds a new Redstone device to Minecraft, the Block Breaker. It can be created by throwing a diamond pickaxe on top of a dropper. The Block Beaker can be used to destroy blocks in the world. It works with almost every type of block. The Breaker requires the correct tool to be used to break the block. It uses the durability of the tool in order to break it. If you come across issues, please join our discord and share a screenshot so we can fix it. Likely some blocks that should be able to broken cannot, as we couldn’t test everything. If something doesn’t break that you think should, please contact us.

So, what can this pack do?


  • Create Block Breaker: Simply drop a diamond pickaxe on top of a dropper.
  • Break Blocks: Breaks anything in front of the block Breaker when supplied with the correct tool for the task.
  • Damage Tools: In order to work, the tool to break the block needs to be in the breaker. It will take one durability damage to work.
  • Enjoy: We hope you enjoy this little pack.

To install, follow the instructions contained in the “instructions.txt” file included in the download. If you are still having issues installing or want help knowing how to do something with the pack, ask for help on our discord.

Fixed issues, many issues.
Massive performance increases due to some major rewrites.

Got the pack ready to be merged into our Machines datapack.

This pack will no longer be updated as it will soon be contained inside the machines datapack.

Can there be problems if I have the autocrafter also inside?

I have since tested it together and it has worked great together so far. But when are Netherite picks and ancient debris compatible?

I won't be updating this pack, as I merged it into my machine's datapack months ago. The machines pack has netherite tools enabled.

It would be difficult, but unbreaking is the only enchantment that would do anything. I think it is manageable. This pack actually isn't going to be updated, as I merged it into my Machines Datapack. If I do add that feature it will only be to that pack, not this one.

I actually just grabbed the Machines datapack as I noticed it mentioned in the changelog. But anyways, silktouch would give stone, ice, grass, mycelium, nylium and podzol. Also, would it be possible to add in an anti-tool-break feature? If configured or if a certain condition is met, breaker will stop so as to not use up the last durability of a tool.

Yeah, forgot silk-touch :D That would likely be possible.
As for anti-tool-break, I could implement that, but a lot of people just put multiple tools in so when it breaks it has more.
