    This simple data pack adds a flashlight into Minecraft that acts as a portable light source. It can be Crafted with a stone button, an iron ingot and block, and a block of glowstone.

    You were honest about limitations and functions, I like that. Seems pretty sick, I plan on trying it out soon. One question as a starting mod creator. I currently am learning MCreator for my mods but was wondering, how do you make/texture 3d models.

    I use blockbench for my models and texturing models but use pixilart.com for just textures (like for 2D Items) That's my personal preference. I recommend finding tutorials on custommodeldata in order to add custom items without replacing core ones
