Is survival or creative better?

Creative is better imo because you get to build with no limits and you can fly. Another reason is that you can build without mining, since mining takes a long time. One time I played survival and I could not find any coal while mining.

I say both are equally good, I like creative as I can make very big and amazing builds, but survival is fun because its challenging and I like to make big bases and farms.

do y'all hate creative? i know listening to the same track is boring but i like to build quickly, it's good for cities and stuff, survival, it's so unsatisfying when you lose ur items when you die, but the survival soundtrack is awesome

survival is more free, you don't feel any pressure, you are a visible entity who can die rather than a god

Creative is fun for specific things like mega builds, but there isn't any challenge. Survival on the other hand has some challenge to it, so whenever you finish something it takes more time, but is much more satisfying to complete.

survival is too much work it's hard and we die too much. You can do everything in creative. But me being a creeper stuck in survival and creative people just murdering my species leaf by leaf, toe by toe, just #painful + L + ratio whatever that means

I wouldn't say one or the other is better, but I prefer Survival.

Both are equal, depending on the player. Being a sandbox game, Minecraft is what you make of it. Personally I enjoy survival more. I can spend hours grinding away at a project and feel pretty chill at times. However I also like creative mode at times. It's there that I can play with command blocks and experiment with my addon creations. Guess you could say that Minecraft is enjoyed in both aspects for me 😄

None of them, the best gamemode is survival with cheatsenabled, you can get op items and build insane stuff while playing in survival, which is arguably better than creative in my opinion, as creative gets bored after playing for a while

If one wishes to build things unfettered by resource considerations, hostiles, or the need for scaffolding, creative is clearly superior.
[I would include in this catagory prototyping or development builds.]
If one prefers the resource management game aspects (building something where those factors are additional obstacles to be overcome), one chooses survival.

On the other hand the resluts for working under the additional constraints of survival can be more satisfying.
