Personally, I'm chill with it. I'm a Java user, but many of my friends make skins for the marketplace. It supports small creators and gives them extra income which I know a lot of people really need. (:
I'm absolutely fine with skin marketplace we've had for a while, but it's the Character Creator that bugs me.
There's an Antvenom video on this, but the way they label certain stuff as Common and Rare just makes me think about lootboxes.

Like I said in the other thread about this, the marketplace is completely optional, and it supports creators. On windows 10 and mobile, you can still get stuff for free online. There are also lots of free stuff already on the marketplace
Totally agree: it's nothing that affects or impacts game play itself in ANY WAY whatsoever and as such an optional thing, I don't particularly see the need for hate against it to the extent I've amusingly seen at times.
