Will the updates still be coming?

Hey guys! It's me Mature, and ever since Microsoft has bought Mojang, I'm starting to think MCPE will become more of a mini-game type of thing. The reason being, most people thought that when Mojang was bought, it would become a mostly XBOX game.
But of course, one of the Microsoft workers announced that they might also work on the PC version too!
If there is a little chance that the PC version will still be having updates, then what chance does MCPE have for their updates? I'm afraid that this might ruin Minecraft a bit, and it's community. Plus, it might have been a little waste of money, for Microsoft, but not really, since they can easily get $2.5 Billion again. But I will admit Jeb was coming up with some bad ideas on the new Minecraft Updates. More mobs needed to be added, too. What do you guys think of this? Tell me in the comments!

Microsoft isnt going to change one of the worlds biggest franchises, largest indie game, etc etc.
They are not paying 2.5billion to screw something over.
They are not going to change a clearly 100% proven working method for cash.
